Hello everybody

I want to send an form based on PowerAutomate approval answer. (For example: If answer = approval send form; else delete item)

How can I get the variable Approved or Rejected in Powerapps? Is that possible?

Thank you in advance

Hi @t1agow

My understanding is, You would like to kick off the approval process/ workflow using Power Automate and get the response in PowerApps.

Power Automate Approval process is Asynchronous, It means we don't know yet when the user is going to approve. So only one option to get the response is

Flow:

  1. PowerApps save the record
  2. Power Automate Triggered (Asynchronously)
  3. Send Approval to User
  4. The response stored on the Data source
  5. Power Apps retrieves it or use it

The synchronous process is only possible if the user approval is completed within the limit, it means before the application closes.

@StalinPonnusamy Thank you for your help

But, can I take the response of that flow (Approved or Rejected) in PowerApps somehow? Using any variable?

I have this test flow
I see the response into a variable, but how can i use it inside powerapps? Is it possible?
