Getting your data in form

Hi,

I have a scanner that is going to another screen where the form is located.

The barcode scanner does Navigate(ScanOutDet; Fade) onscan.

The form is a view only form and has the datasource from the inventory list of all the products.

so the barcode field is set to barcodescanner1

I receive no errors with this.

Once I open the app and scan the item I get getting your data on the form.

how can I fix this.

and also how can I save this and that it is also added as a new row in a different datasource inside that SP

Hi @Nathan5 ,

Do you mean that you form will display as "getting your data"?
Could you tell me:

1)formula in the form's Item?

2)the field's data type that is related to the barcode value?

3)what is your data source?

4)how many records in your data source?

Usually, you should use that barcode field to filter item.

For example, set the form's Item like this:

LookUp(tablename,barcodescanner1.Value=fieldname)

If your data source has more than 500 records, you may meet delegation problem.

Try to change delegation limit to 2000.
