Hello,
I created a PowerApp which I use as a Form to import data into a Sharepoin list. I know that I need to share the app and also the Sharepoint with the user who wants to input data. But I don't want the user to have permission to change the input information.
Are there any differences of setting the colleagues into "Members" or "Owner" right at the beginning when I share the Sharepoint with them?
If not how can I restrict their "write and change " permission to only "read" but still can input data from the app.

Hi,
You need to give the Edit permission to the user so that they can add or edit via PowerApps to SharePoint.
I came across this article where the user recommend to create a new permission level in SharePoint, maybe called PowerApps. So for this Permission level you can remove view access of the site from the users so they cant edit from SharePoint.
Hope this helps
