Group control is disabled

Hi. My 'Group' control is disabled.
How do I turn it on? Can't see anything obvious in Experimental/Preview features.

This is only enabled when selecting multiple items that are not already in the same group. Could it be the items you are looking to group are already in a group?

I don't have any groups thus far. Don't see to have the ability to add them either. I don't see group in the Input menu. Or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Selecting multiple controls enables the option to group for me just fine:

Yep that works. Thankyou. Was expecting to see the group control in the Insert menu. Glad I asked!
