Groups Mail Connector

Good day,

I saw that Groups Mail Connector is availabel in Powerapps!

I tried to use it, but my problem is, that I do not understand how to use it to be honest.

Does anybody know how to Create a new Threat? I tried it, but it seems not self explanatory to me

THanks

Hi @mardex ,

I tried to use graph api and successfully created a thread.

So, I think it is feasible to create a custom connector instead of Groups Mail Connector.

But it will be more complicated.

Hope this can provide you with a new idea.

Best Regards,
Wearsky

Hi @mardex ,

According to your description,

Hope this link will help you:

https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-cn/connectors/office365groupsmail/#create-a-conversation-thread

Best Regards,

Wearsky

Hello Wearsky,

thanks for that and thats what I found already. I have difficulties to use the connector in Teams.

I dont know the syntax and it it looks like (to me) that its not straight forward.

Maybe there is a sample for CreateConversation so that I can take it from there?

in the description you send they say "content", but in the PowerApps Connector you need to add a post and this needs to be of type Record and you need to add attachment even if not used.

Hi @mardex ,

You are right, I just did a test and encountered the problem you mentioned.

It may be due to the unclear description of the document or other reasons.

Unfortunately, I could not find more information to describe the grammar.

Hope someone else could help you.

Best Regards,

Wearsky

Dear Wearsky,

thanks thats at least good for me as I was already thinking that I am stupid and now I know that others also have problems to understand same  🤣

I will wait with that feature in my app and if no solution soon I will use the Automate

I will than do, but I wanted to avoid it as it is much much more work. I will wait short time and than

check the connector again. If it is not working I will use Graph
