HTML Editor Help

I'm very new to this and apologies if these are silly questions.

I have created a basic app which will display three SharePoint lists - I have manage to use the editor to display one line of data but it's not showing all the data from the list.

Is there a string to return the whole list?

Is there a string to return data from multiple lists?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: HTML Editor Help

Hi @dandandsan ,

The broad answer is that you can access any connected data sets with file set with filters and lookups etc,. If you give me more information on what you are trying to achieve, I will try and put you on the right track.

Re: HTML Editor Help

I'm not sure I know what you mean. Are you trying to use an HTML Editor to display text from SharePoint Lists?

@dandanandsan
For starters, please show your code and a screenshot of your app.

Re: HTML Editor Help

Thank you to everyone for your replies.

I'm using SharePoint to display three lists, description, Info and stock levels, users can edit stock level by using a drop down via a different screen.

I would like to create a button which will grab the data from the three lists, create a PDF and maybe email onto another user as an attachment?

My understanding is I need to start with the html editor before using flows to create the PDF?

Please don't laugh but this is the  html code I used to test the data output

"<!DOCTYPE html
<html>
<body>

<h2>Report</h2>

<div>" & Title1.Text & "</div>
<div>" & Body1.Text & "</div>
</body>
</html>
"

Re: HTML Editor Help

Hi @dandandsan ,

Just picked this up and will try to help you.

Firstly, there is nothing wrong with your HTML except you don't need a lot of it

"<!DOCTYPE html
<html>
<body>

<h2>Report</h2>

<div>" & Title1.Text & "</div>
<div>" & Body1.Text & "</div>
</body>
</html>
"

can be written as

"
<h2>Report</h2>" &
Title1.Text & "<br>" &
Body1.Text
"

Happy to help you through your journey - if you get stuck, send your sample as test.
