Help an idiot with a simple SharePoint list & PowerApps form

Greetings, I have a very simple SharePoint list that I am trying to build and modify using PowerApps.

I am at the initial stages of building it, and am stuck!

I know very little about using PowerApps, and have even less of an understanding of the concepts behind it.

I have attached a screenshot of my issue.

I am trying to update the Title field with some data filled out by the user 'adding a new list item'.

As you can see, when I open the list item, I can see the Title as I want: Submitted by someone.

(This is just a test Title)

But on the list view, the name does not come through.

If I 'Edit all' and then 'Save', the list updates.

I am not sure how to make the change show up on the list when a user clicks Save (the default Save button).

I know this is an old thread, just trying to resolve some of the older items.

I would have it set up with:

Concatenate( Text(DataCardValue2), "-", Text(DataCardValue6.Selected.DisplayName) )

and then have the Update reference the actual value of the item set from this above formula.

Unless you found a better way to resolve it?
