Help with Multiselect Cascading dropdowns

I've been racking my brains on this one for a while but still couldn't figure it out. I would really like some help.

I've got three SharePoint lists with the following columns:

SportsMultiSportsMultiSportPlayers

Activity (Title field renamed)

SportType (Multivalue choice)

MultiSport (Multivalue lookup on MultiSports)

MultiSportPlayer (Multivalue lookup on MultiSportsPlayers)

Sport (Title field renamed)

SportType (Multivalue choice)

Player (Title field renamed)

MultiSport ( Single value lookup on MultiSports)

* (We can ignore MultiSportsPlayers for now)

I was able to implement filtering on a cascading dropdown on the Sports form only when there weren't any multivalue choice/lookup fields.

But now I'm at a lost on how to make it so if they choose multiple SportTypes, I'd like the MultiSport to display all items based on those selected SportTypes.

Also, would there be any issues if say MultiSports list has 10,000+ items in it?

Here's additional info on how it works right now for single values:

SportType combo box

OnChange

UpdateContext({typeChange:1});

UpdateContext({typeChange:0});

MultiSport data card

Update{'@odata.type' : "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference",Id:DataCardMultiSport.Selected.ID, Value :Id:DataCardMultiSport.Selected.Title}

MultiSport combo box

Items

Filter(

    ShowColumns(MultiSports, "Title", "ID", "SportType"),

    SportType.Value = DataCardSportType.Selected.Value

)

DefaultSelectedItemsIf(typeChange = 0, Blank(), ThisItem.MultiSport)
ResettyepChange

Hi @undongi ,

Do you want to :
after you select choices for SportType, the combo box for MultiSport will display related items?

Does MultiSport field look up to Title field in MultiSports?

I assume that yes.

Could you tell me the relationship between SportType field inSports list and MultiSports list?

I assume that you want SportType field inSports list and SportType field in MultiSports list with the same value.

Then you should set like this:

SportType combo box's Items:

Choices(Sports.SportType)

MultiSport combo box's Items:

Filter(
      Choices(Sports.MultiSport),
      Id in
      Filter(MultiSports,
                   Concat(SportType,Value&",")= Concat(DataCardSportType.SelectedItems,Value&",")
             ).ID
        )

 MultiSport data card:

DataCardMultiSport.Selected

Since SportType is multiple choice in these two lists, so you need to use concat function to compare them.

You could not compare two tables directly.
