Help with SharePoint Integration and Power BI

In summary, I'm trying to build a PowerApp that can be embedded into a Power BI report that reports on multiple SharePoint task lists. The client requested that they would be able to select a task in the Power BI report, then that task would appear in the PowerApp which they could then edit, save, then refresh the report and the changes would appear.

To my knowledge, each SharePoint edit screen in PowerApps can only use one data source, and each data source can only point to one list. So, each list would need its own hard-coded edit screen. The client would not be able to add new lists without me adding them to the PowerApp.

Is this the right way to think about it? Also, how could this be done? I have an idea but I cannot figure out how to pass the data from Power BI to the PowerApp.

Re: Help with SharePoint Integration and Power BI

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to pass data from PowerApps BI to the PowerApps app?

I agree with your thought almost. If you want to pass data from PowerApps BI to the PowerApps app, please check the following blog:

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerbi-powerapps-visual/

Please check and see if the following article would help in your scenario:

Best regards,

Kris
