Help with Sum Filter by date picker

Hi Guys,

 

Can someone please help with the below.  The below example 1 works fine but i want to change Today() to the date that the user picks from the Datepicker example 2.  I cant understand why i an getting errors?

 

Example 1 - based on todays date works fine

Sum(Filter(BrowseGallery1.AllItems,StartDate=Today()), Hours)

 

Example 2 - based on datepicker does not work

Sum(Filter(BrowseGallery1.AllItems,StartDate=DatePicker1), Hours)

Can you please try using the Expression:

Sum(Filter(BrowseGallery1.AllItems,StartDate=DatePicker1.SelectedDate), Hours)

Can you please try using the Expression:

Sum(Filter(BrowseGallery1.AllItems,StartDate=DatePicker1.SelectedDate), Hours)

Could you tell me what's StartDate's data type?

I assume that is date.

So please try this formula:

Sum(Filter(BrowseGallery1.AllItems,StartDate=DatePicker1.SelectedDate), Hours)
