Re: Help with powerapps and delegation

The StartsWith portion of the formula should be fine.  Its the use of User().Email that will cause a delegation problem.  Instead of using the Embedded function store the result of User().Email as a variable and use the variable instead.  Also, use && instead of the And.  So your formula should look like this:

Filter('Photo Gallery';StartsWith(Marchio; TextSearchBox1.Text) && Author.Email=CurrentUser)

Then add this to the OnStart property of your App

Set(CurrentUser, user().Email)

Hey @luis82

Power Apps Delegation can only be an issue for large amounts of records and the limit can be amended. Do you have many records?

Refer to this blog here to assist; https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/sharepoint-delegation-improvements/

To understand more about delegation, please read here; https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/delegation-overview

Kind Regards,

PowerAppAlex
