Helpdesk powerapp percent complete not updated from task status

I have been working through the sample help desk app and don't see any syntax errors or deviations from the setup instructions. All works fine except for the "Percent complete bar" is not automatically updating once I change the status (in the walkthrough video the percent complete changes based on the status indicated in the drop down - EX: "In Progress" = a change in the % automatically). I have tested and played with and can't seem to find what code is kicking off the percent change when the status is changed from "NOT STARTED" to anything else... Screen shots attached, thanks for any insight.

NOTE - I Can manually move the percentage bar, it just doesn't move in step with the status

Re: Helpdesk powerapp percent complete not updated from task status

Hi @skc0037 ,

Do you want to know how the Percent complete bar works?

Could you tell me which Percent complete bar do you want to know, the one in edit screen or the one in view screen?

(Percent complete bar only displays in these two screen, it doesn't display in gallery screen )

Firstly, the app's OnStart:

Please notice the collection named TicketList and the field named PercentComplete.

The value of Percent complete bar comes from this field.

Then, in MyTicketsScreen. MyTicketsScreenGallery's OnSelect:

Set(SelectedTicket,ThisItem)

1)in edit screen:

Then in EditTicketScreenCompletedSlider screen.

EditTicketScreenCompletedSlider's Default:

SelectedTicket.PercentComplete*100

20202.PNG

EditTicketScreenCompletedValue 's Text:

EditTicketScreenCompletedSlider.Value & " %"

20203.PNG

2)in view screen:

ViewTicketScreenCompletedColoredButton's Width:

510*SelectedTicket.PercentComplete

20204.PNG

 ViewTicketScreenCompletedNumber's Text:

 SelectedTicket.PercentComplete *100 & "%"

 ViewTicketScreenCompletedNumber's X:

ViewTicketScreenCompletedColoredButton.Width +48

Re: Helpdesk powerapp percent complete not updated from task status

Hi v-yutliu-msft, thanks for your detailed response as I too am experiencing this issue.

However for me, the whole section in the OnStart formula from ClearCollect(TaskList... to Set(Runflow, false) is missing. see attached. Apologies if this is a noob question but could you please explain why this has occurred?
