Hiding Row in Gallery

Hi All,

so I have a gallery and the user is able to go in and hide records. I have it so they click a hide icon and it asks them in a pop-up “yes” or “no” if they want to hide the selected record. When the user clicks yes, how do I then go about actually hiding the selected record?

I can think of two ways from just brainstorming now.

Option 1 we add a new column to your datasource e.g. 'Visibilty Status' then the button in the Item of the Gallery does a Patch e.g Patch(datasource,ThisItem,{'Visibilty Status':"Hidden"}). then add to the filter of the gallery 'Visibilty Status' <> "Hidden".

Option 2 Clearcollect the datasource if its needed that way and then use remove to take the row out of the collection.

Let me know which option you are planning on going for and if you need more help with that option.
