Hi @bhavin ,

For your first question, do you want to access the .JSON file in a canvas app? The answer is NO. Currently, we could not access the .JSON file in a canvas app directly.

For your second question, there is no official document mentioned about this database which store the .JSON file (configuration info) of a canvas app. The only thing we know is that the .JSON file (configuration info) is stored in Power Apps Server.

If you want to review the JSON schema of the configuration info of your canvas app, you could consider export your canvas app as a package file, then you could find the configuration info for the canvas app there:

You could import the exported package file into other environments, then the exported canvas app would be copied to other Environment.

Hi @bhavin ,

When you click "Save as" button, you could choose to save clone app to Cloud or local computer. If you choose to save clone app to Cloud, it would copy the configuration file (.json file) of the current canvas app, and generate a new app based on the copied  configuration file (.json file) with a new app name.

Note: The detail clone process is handled underlying Power Apps service. Unfortunately, we could not get the detail info of the clone process from Power Apps.

If you choose to save to Local computer, it would compress your current canvas app (configuration settings of your current app) into a .msapp file. And This .msapp file could only be opened by Power Apps Studio, you could not open it using other tools.

In addition, there is no official document mentioned about the underlying clone process of a canvas app. If you would like to get more details about this clone process, please consider submit an support ticket for further help through the following link:

Thanks for helping me!

Regarding your solution, I have the following questions :

1. Can we access .Json file and clone it by clicking our custom button?

2. In which database these .json files are stored?
