Re: How To-Manage attachments in OOTB SharePoint Attachments field with Patch in multi screen requirement

Hi @prabhat007 ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to add/Edit/delete attachments through the Attachments field within the second Edit form using Patch function?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:

I assume that the two Edit forms within your two screen connect to same SP List data source. Please set the OnSelect property of the "Submit" button (custom button that you mentioned) to following:

Patch(                       /* <-- Add new record */
'YourSPList',
Defaults('YourSPList'),
EditForm1.Updates,
EditForm2.Updates
)

If you want to edit an existing record in your SP List, please modify above formula as below:

Patch(                       /* <-- Add new record */
'YourSPList',
LookUp('YourSPList', FilteredColumn = "A specific value"), /* <-- Find the record you want to update */
EditForm1.Updates,
EditForm2.Updates
)

Note: EditForm1 and EditForm2 represents the Edit forms within your two separated screens.

Please consider take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.

The attachment control only works with the form submit function. You could try and hack something using Flow but it might be easier and more efficient to see if you can configure your app to use the form control and the submit function.
