How can I populate PowerApps drop-downs using a PBI dataset?

I'm new to PowerApps and have been asked to build an app to allow users to annotate a Power BI report. For this, the app will update a Sharepoint document, which will be pulled into the Power BI report via direct query.

The PowerApp will have fields for:

  • Date
  • Location
  • Issues
  • Resolutions

How can I populate the drop-down for Location with values that exist in the Power BI report/dataset? I want to prevent using from making any typos that would lead to annotations failing to be tied to a location.
