How can I put the drop down in SharePoint as a label

Hi All,

My data source is a sharepoint and one of the columns is the progress of the work. The column is a drop-down named "Status"- Not Started, In Progress, and Completed.

Now, I want to show the work status on the front page of the power apps. I use the label and use the 'This Item.Status' but the function showed an error. How can I make the status shown in the gallery?

Hope someone can help! Thank you

Hi,

Please check if your status is getting saved at your backend SharePoint list. In most of the cases, if its not there in the backend it won't come-up in the PowerApps. To make sure that data is getting saved you can use patch function on submit button with below syntax.

Patch('<ListName>', Lookup('<ListName>', <IDColumnName> = <FormName>.LastSubmit.ID),{ StatusColumnName: {
'@odata.type': "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference",
Value: "<StatusValue>"}})
