How can I request an already booked room

I am currently making a meeting booking app in Powerapps using office 365 and sharepoint.

Started with the meeting screen template on the new screen tab and spilt its contents accross some screens.
One of the features I added was a matchmaking rating that takes into account the capacity, location and equipment present in a given room.

Using the AvailableRooms collection that comes with the template i was able to mark each room as available/unavailable.

Now here's the issue, one of the requested features was to send a request , can be a simple email for now, that asks the owner of a given meeting if he can give the room up.

On Sharepoint Im currently tracking the booked meetings witha list called  MeetingSessions that store all the data used on the booking process, with the following columns:

MeetingName	- Single line of text
StartTime	 - Date and Time
EndTime - Date and Time
Participants - Person or Group
MeetingRoom - Lookup
Catering	- Lookup
Cleanup - Single line of text
Duration - Number
Modified	- Date and Time
Created	- Date and Time
Created By - Person or Group
Modified By - Person or Group

With what I have, is it possible to send an email to the people that have the room booked for my selected hours?

Re: How can I request an already booked room

Hi @MangoMan09 ,

Since you didn't show me your formula, I could only give you some thoughts.

Firstly, you need to find the booked room people.

ClearCollect(test,
Filter(MeetingSessions, Not(DropdownStartTime.Selected.Text>=MeetingSessions.EndTime||
DropdownEndTime.Selected.Text<=MeetingSessions.StartTime
)
)
)

Then, send email to those meetings's 'Created by' people.

ForAll(test.Created by,Office365.SendEmail(Created by, etc....))

Re: How can I request an already booked room

@v-yutliu-msft sorry I forgot to add some code snippets but your proposal seems interesting.

I'll try to apply it and see what results it brings!

Re: How can I request an already booked room

@v-yutliu-msft  that did it!

I set up a few fields so the user could send a personalised subject and message and the creators of the meetings that were using the desired room got them.

Many thanks!
