How do I add one Edit Form inside another View Form ?

Hi Builders,

I'm new to PowerApps, I just wanted to know how to add a form inside another from ? These 2 forms are from different sources or table. I've tried adding custom cards in the View Form and when I insert an Edit form in the custom card, it falls outside the custom card. So when I scroll the View Form, the Edit Form is static on the page and not moving. So how do I actually Insert one form inside another form from different resource ? Please help.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I don't believe you can add a form inside another one. You can add a gallery inside a custom card on a form.

What are you trying to achieve with this?

Thanks for your reply @WarrenBelz
I'm trying to do a survey app, where the questions should be able to be edited in the app itself, while I opened a separate table to save the answers. Everything works as expected, except for this part where on the same page I have to show the user QUESTIONS from TABLE 1, and below the questions there should be an EDIT FORM for the ANSWER to be saved in TABLE 2. Any idea how to work around this ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can put two (or more) forms on one screen (just not one inside the other)

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to insert a Edit form into a Display form?

If you want to insert a Edit form into a Display form, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs. Inserting a Edit form into a Display form is not supported in PowerApps.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

As an alternative solution, you could consider insert the Display form and the Edit form in same screen. E.G. Left side display Display form, right side display Edit form:
