How do I change the navigation color in my mda?

Hi,

I've been trying to change the navigation background color but without success, how can I do this?

I tried via themes but I couldn't find the navigation background color option there

Hi@the365bit,

Could you please share more about your scenario, which navigation bar do you want to change? The home page of the Power Apps or app-making page. What’s more, a canvas interface or a model-driven interface which differs a lot.

“I saw a couple of power apps that had the navigation bar in black”,  is it like the second screenshot you provided shows? The second screenshot displays the model-driven interface navigation bar color rather than the canvas interface.

Here are some steps you can refer to, please take a try:

  • Click the home page of Power Apps and click the setting—Advance settings as shown below3.png
  • Click “Settings” and choose the “Customization”.
  • Click “Themes” and customize your personal theme as below4.png
  • Please remember to save and publish your theme.

Best Regards,

Hi @v-qiaqi-msft

I realized what was the problem, I actually did what you instructed me to do before and still the navigation color didn't change but only now when I followed again the steps I realized something weird that is either a bug or a strange convention from Microsoft.

The navigation color by default is black (#000000) but in inside of a power apps application (not making power app) the default color is purple. I wanted my navigation bar to be black, so I didn't change the default value I just published the theme and I got no results, but if I change the navigation color to "almost black" (#010000) then the navigation bar in power apps changes.

But thank you, your insight helped me realized that and your answer was right we just didn't see this behavior coming.

@the365bit ,

The Power Apps background is set to this colour - you cannot change it.

Thanks for the answer I was thinking that but I saw a couple of power apps that had the navigation bar in black, I'm wonder if was a hack they did or there is a support way to achieve it.
