How do I keep forms populated with the data after submitting the form?

Hello everybody, this community has been excellent in helping me develop some simple forms and a rudimentary database for my department. I'm pretty pleased with how PowerApps works. But I'm still relatively new and need a little help understanding how to create certain features.

What I'm attempting to do is submit all my forms (via a wizard-style process), which works. Have a success screen pop up with two options to return to the main menu or navigate back to the forms to use them as a template to update some information.

This is in case I have multiple pieces of equipment the need to be added to our inventory. There's no reason to fill out the form multiple time, when I only need to adjust a serial number and a system name. So, in essence, I would like to be able to navigate back to the form I was working on and adjust the parameters that need to be adjusted. Then resubmitted as a new item to be added to the lists.

My current issue, when I submit my forms at the end of the wizard, it updates all of my SharePoint lists with the correct data, BUT All of the forms close out displaying this page. So, when I navigate back to the forms, they're all blanked out.

Not sure where to correct this behavior. Is there something I need to adjust in the forms properties to tell it to retain the information, or is there's something I need to adjust in my submit form command to tell it to retain the information?

Again, I've appreciated this community's advice immensely.

What is the Item property of your form?

Yes, I would assume that means that they all or different datasources for each form.  I believe we went over this in some other post...it's coming back to me now!

First, I would suggest the following.  Do not have a submit that submits all the forms at once.  You are then navigating to a success screen...how do you know it was a success??  The form provides the ability to determine success or failure.  I would use it.

So, change your Submit formula to:

SubmitForm('(New)Periodic_Actions_Form-1')

Then in the OnSuccess action of the (New)Periodic_Actions_Form-1 form, set the following formula:

Set(glbActionsRecord, Self.LastSubmit);
SubmitForm('(NEW)Related_Documents_Form_1')

Then on the (New)Periodic_Actions_Form-1 form, set the Item property to: glbActionsRecord

Then on the (NEW)Related_Documents_Form_1 form, set the OnSuccess action to:

Set(glbDocumentsRecord, Self.LastSubmit);
SubmitForm('(NEW)Equipment_Infromation _Form-1')

On that form, set the Item property to: glbDocumentsRecord

Then on the (NEW)Equipment_Infromation _Form-1 form, set the OnSuccess action to:

Set(glbEquipmentRecord, Self.LastSubmit);
SubmitForm('(NEW)PC_Information_Form-1')

On that form, set the Item property to: glbequipmentRecord

Then on the (NEW)PC_Information_Form-1 form, set the OnSuccess action to:

Set(glbPCRecord, Self.LastSubmit);
SubmitForm('(NEW)System_Infomation_Form-1')

On that form, set the Item property to: glbPCRecord

And finally, on the (NEW)System_Infomation_Form-1' form, set the OnSuccess action to:

Set(glbSystemRecord, Self.LastSubmit);
Navigate('(NEW-Screen)_Success')

This will first provide a chain of error trapping (not mentioned was the use of the OnFailure actions on those forms, but they can be used to handle any errors).

Then, each form submit will set its own record (the one used for the Item property).

The form will then show all that record data for further editing.
