How do you update a Multi Lookup Column Dynamically

I have a SharePoint list with a Lookup column to another list. This lookup list allows multi-select.

My app has a combobox with the datasource being the lookup list.

I want to save/patch the results of the combobox into the lookup field.

Is this possible?

Re: How do you update a Multi Lookup Column Dynamically

Hi @simkessy

Does your app have independent controls or is it inside an Edit form?

If it is inside the Edit Form, you need to modify the Update property of the DataCard to Combobox1.SelectedItems and when you submit the form using SubmitForm(), this will directly get updated.

If you have independent controls, you can use Patch command to either update an exisiting value or create a new one:

New: Patch(SpList,Defaults(SPList),{LookupFieldName:Combobox1.SelectedItems})
Existing: Patch(SpList,Name="Test",{LookupFieldName:Combobox1.SelectedItems})

Please replace the names used here with your actual values. If you want more specific detail, please share a screenshot so that we can help you better.
