Hey!

You should try first using a form. This is easier and faster

If you dont to use a form, yes, you can use the Patch

im trying to do a recycle bin for the register ,so instead of delete it forever ,it goes to another table if i need it in the future

Can you provide further details, for example are you using at textbox or registering from a Gallery control.

Do you show the itens in a gallery?

If yes, you can have the button to "delete"/create a new one and write this:

Patch(RecycleBin; Defaults(RecycleBin);{

Name: Gallery1.Selected.Name
...

})

But for this to work, you have to choose the item from a gallery
