I think it is not possible to add comments at present but it is a feature which is coming.

Hi @Anonymous,

Like @Anonymous said, I think this function is coming soon.

Ya it's coming, just like a user friendly method of handling parent child forms WITH dropdowns.

Is there an ETA for this ... It's useful for a central development team detail the changes made.

Hi @BO55VXR,

EDIT: I am sorry, totally missed that this is the topic about comments on version and not for comments inside the app.

Comments on version is still unavailable at the moment.

Comments are already avaialble in PowerApps. For in line comments use :

// add comment here

For multi line comment use:

/*
my comment goes here
and here
and here
*/

is this ever going to be a functionality? those comment fields just taunt me as I look at version history. I'd like to be able to say, here's where I changed the user input to drop down or here's where I added an experimental logic to the button that is now messing everything up RESTORE BEFORE.

For those looking to comment versions, I just discovered that there is an active idea at https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/Allowing-a-changelog-or-comment-with-each-saved-... Please join me in upvoting this.

Sounds word for word what I always say!!
Until I learned Microsoft doesn't have/make time for useful and completed functionalities. Their time seems better spent on creating stupid and rediculous little connectors to things like Trello and a myriad of other stupid connectivities no one over 20 gives a crap about.
That's why I stopped even opening and using this tool in place of other non-microsoft tools as i work towards leaving the platform altogether.
Seems they're trying to be too many things for too many people (kids). Just take your money elsewhere, it'll save you a lot of frustration. BELIEVE YOU ME!!!
