How to add dot in the new number pad for number type of field in the ios app?

Until recently, in the number field that was derived from a SharePoint list, it used to show up the number section of the native keyboard.

In one of the recently updated PowerApps for ios, the new number pad doesn't have the dot to add decimals. How do we add that now?

Please find the attached image.

@ifti

Have you tried changing the VirtualKeyboardMode property of the Text control?  By default it looks like this:

VirtualKeyboardMode = Auto

What happens if your switch it to:

VirtualKeyboardMode = Text

Here's some additional info from the documentation:

VirtualKeyboardMode – Type of virtual keyboard, text or numeric, that appears on an app user's touch screen. The Format property determines the default value. Device support varies. Devices that are running iOS must have at least version 12.2. The recommended version of Android is 9.0, and capabilities of numeric keyboards vary for Android devices. Windows 10 doesn't support this property.  Link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-text-input

That did the trick!! Thank you!!

Shame that Microsoft doesn't provide dot to that as I actually prefer to have the number pad instead of the text. 😞
