How to change default environment name

Hi All,

We need to change the default environment name.

The name what appears everywhere is not user friendly. It includes (Default) (upgrade) (some number).

I tried to follow the instruction as per this ms doc - but cant find default environment in list.

Let me knwo if some one knows how to fix this.

HI @sarveshshinde15 ,

Do you want to change the Default Environment name within your PowerApps?

The Default Environment name is generated automatically by PowerApps service when you sign in your PowerApps first time.

If you want to change the Default Environment name within your PowerApps, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Meaningless limitation. Why can't you rename the default environment? Because of lazy coding where you index the name of the environment instead of an internal id? It's also meaningless that you can't change the default environment in Power Apps - probably because of the same lazy coding as renaming environments

Just click on the Environment name in the admin portal. Once you are there, you will see a edit button on the Details pane, just click that and you should be able to rename the environment.
