How to change hover color on button

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how I can change the color of a button when I hover over it without changing the color of the text.

I've played with the hover function... but whenever I use it, it only changes the color of the text. Any suggestions?

Thank you,
M

It looks like you used an icon combined with a text label, am I right?
The icon and the text label both have hover-properties. You should change the property HoverColor of the icon.

You can use a transparent button over the elements and change HoverFill property to a RGBA color with A less than 100%.
For example:

  1. Create an icon.
  2. Create a label.
  3. Create a button.
  4. Clear Fill, Border, Text properties and border or fill in another states like selected or disabled.
  5. Use button HoverFill property to something like Rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.1).
  6. You can repeat the same strategy to Focus property if you want to keep the same color after user click on this button.

There's a lot of ideas on this forum regarding this situation, i think the dev team will keep this on radar for next milestones because these workarounds are not healthy for our apps.
