How to create a sharepoint List out of powerapps

Dear Community,

I'm somehow lost...

I try to create a sharepoint list out of Powerapps but I can't find any documentation on how to do this.

So, I basically have a table which I would like to store in a sharepoint list. The sharepoint list needs to be customer specific so I can't create it upfront but would like to make it dynamic.

Could someone be so nice to send me in the right direction?

Thanks

Hi @knut4711 ,

YOu can Use Microsoft Flow  for this purpose.
Just you can Create a PowerApp Flow.
What you do like Just ask the Column Name from the Power app and Send to Flow and in Flow, you can Extract the Column Name.

and Create.

See the below Example for Create a List using Power App. (Thanks to aprildunnam for such grate flow)
Reference for Create List Using Flow.(Below Image)

For More Detail - https://github.com/aprildunnam/PowerApps/tree/master/Timesheet and Follow the Instruction surely you get an idea about that. (Upload the Flow in Power Automate and see How shes created List and Column using FLow)
TimesheetApp Zip and the Timesheet Provisioner Zip

Hi Vijay,

this is very helpful - thank you very much!

It definitely got me started.

One more question. As I plan to produce a whole bunch of lists, I want them to be  in a specific library.

The flow you describes keeps on putting it in the main library which can be quite confusing.

How to I get the flow to create the lists in a certain library (lets say "Files")?

Thanks

Hi @knut4711,

For this purpose, you can have a look into the below URL.

Hope your all doubts clarified here.

Sorry, but I couldn't get the information I need out of the link.

Do you have any other resource or provide an example?

Thanks for your help

As per my understanding, you can Pass the Library Name as well as also

So you can append the Library name with FOrmatted URL.

Thanks,

If I use this URL in the HTTP POST:

https://xxx.sharepoint.com/sites/FPTest/Files/Forms/AllItems.aspx

The flow runs and tells me it was successful,

However, if I go the the library, it is empty ...

I think I figured it out. I seems you can't add SP lists to document library but only to a SP site.

I created a sub site and there it work.

However, let me know if you have any other idea.

Thanks

Klaus

Better to attach the screenshot, so I can get the context of action. like what you trying to achieve.
