How to create unique link on different user to access file in SharePoint

Hi All,

I have been searching for solution how to create a specific link that each user will be able to access to their own file stored in SharePoint and not on anyone else. (due to confidential information)

My scenario as per detail below:

1. Number of user are about 200 persons.

2. SharePoint is the database that keep all files and each file has already been shared individually to each person to access their own.

3. My objective is to create an app that people can access their file and not seeing others.

I have thought about creating a list of all link that has been shared to each person as a database but would like your input for better solution.

Thanks.

Nattapon V.

PowerApp inherits SharePoint permissions. If you don't want users to see all files and only see shared files, please remove the users from Group Membership, that means the users only have shared permission to individual Files, instead of the entire folder permission.

Then when users login to the app, they will only see the files that are shared.

Hi @eka24 ,

Thank you for your quick response. This solution work perfectly fine for me.

I'll check with other user to confirm if they can see only their own file.

As for me, I can see everything under Documents level since I'm an SharePoint site owner.

Regards,

Nattapon V.

Thank you @v-siky-msft , I have verified with my colleagues that they can view only their own file which has been shared individually via SharePoint.

Regards,

Nattapon V.
