How to deal with dropdown's text being obscured in a gallery by itself?

Good morning,

I have an issue with dropdowns in a gallery (see image). How do I solve this? The dropdown is a repeating control so "moving to the front" doesn't do anything. Surly I can't be the first that tried to build an editable grid experience with a dropdown.

Make sure the fill property of the dropdown control is set to RGBA(255, 255, 255, 1)
