Re: How to design a Powerapps browser form that works both in Classic and Modern view?

Hi @GeorgeThomas,

Do you want to view the SP list custom form (created via PowerApps) within SP list Modern experience and Classic experience?

Which type of SP list do you use to create a custom form? A Modern experience SP list or Classic experience SP list?

Further, do you mean that you could not view the SP list custom form within SP list Classic View?

If the SP list that you created is a Modern SP list, regardless of this SP list is in Modern experience (Modern View) or Classic experience (Classic View), the custom form works both in Classic and Modern view.

If the SP list that you created is a Classic SP list, there is no way to create a custom form using PowerApps for this list currently.

I have made a test on my side (create a modern SP list), when viewing custom form in Modern View, the screenshot as below:Test1.gif

When viewing custom form in Classic View, the screenshot as below:Test1.gif

If you could not view the SP list custom form within SP list Classic View, please take a try to remove the custom form, and then re-create a custom for your SP list, then check if the issue is solved.

More details about removing a custom form from a SP list, please check the following article:

Best regards,

Kris
