How to display unique names from the list in the drop-down menu

Hello,
I am building an inventory apps, I have a sharpoint list, with the TM column.

I can’t find how to display in dropdown only unique names, without reiterative from the sharpoint list.

And immediately another question, how can one display in the three drop-down menus that are tied to three different columns in one table,

inv.JPGfor example, when choosing a TM, only the categories of this TM are displayed in the next, etc.

Thanks in advance
Best wishes.

Re: How to display unique names from the list in the drop-down menu

@AleksCaine

Use the Distinct function in your Items for the DropDown.

Items = Distinct('SharePoint ListName', TM)

This should give you a drop down with the unique values of the TM column in your list.

Hope this helps.

Re: How to display unique names from the list in the drop-down menu

Hi @AleksCaine ,

Could you please share a bit more about the “TM”, "Category",  "Model" field in your SP List? Are they Choice type column or Single Text type column?

I found that you have posted same issue within this community already, please check my response within the following thread:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps-Formerly/dropdown-display-table-data/td-p/41...

If the "TM" column is a single Text type column in your SP List, please consider take a try with the following workaround:

Set the Items property of the TM Dropdown box to following:

Distinct('YourSPList', TM)

If you want the Category Dropdown box to only display options related to the selected TM value within the TM Dropdown box, please take a try with the following workaround:

Set the Items property of the Category Dropdown box to following:

Distinct(
         Filter('YourSPList', TM = TMDropdownBox.Selected.Result),
         Category
)

Please take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.
