How to edit an event in outlook calendar

I want to Remove/Delete the location from my Meeting (event) in Outlook Calendar. I don't know how to remove a single value(Location) So I thought if i would update the event with all default values which are already there in the calendar and Change Location to blank string it will remove location. But couldn't figured out how to pass Start , End  and Time Zone values to the formula?

1. User clicks on a button the Event from within the Gallery

2. Button has the following formula at OnSelect Property

Office365.V4CalendarPatchItem(MyCalendar, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Id, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Subject, Start, End,

Time Zone, {Location: ""})

I don't know what to get and reference the values for bold text in above formula

Any idea please

Re: How to edit an event in outlook calendar

Hi @AppDeveloper ,

Do you want to update an event?

Based on your description, do you mean that you do not know all the information of this event, so you can not fill in completely Office365.V4CalendarPatchItem function?

So I suggest you firstly get all the information that you want.

You could use V3CalendarGetItem function.

Try this:

Office365.V3CalendarGetItem(MyCalendar, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Id)

Then you could get Start , End  and Time Zone values.

To sum up, you could try:

                              MeetingsGallery.Selected.Id, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Subject,
               Office365.V3CalendarGetItem(MyCalendar, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Id).Start time,
               Office365.V3CalendarGetItem(MyCalendar, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Id).End time,
               Office365.V3CalendarGetItem(MyCalendar, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Id).Time Zone,
               {Location: ""})

Here's a doc about this function for your reference:

Re: How to edit an event in outlook calendar

Hi @v-yutliu-msft

I am still working on it with different ways. I did the following

1. I created a button which will update the location in the Outlook Calendar. On this button first formula will collect a collection with all fields of the selected Item in the list. the formula is below which is working fine.

ClearCollect(myItem,Office365Outlook.V3CalendarGetItem(MyCalendar, MeetingsGallery.Selected.Id));

2. OnSelect of the same button next formula is as follows.

Office365Outlook.V4CalendarPatchItem(MyCalendar,, myItem.subject,
myItem.start time,
myItem.End Time,
myItem.Time zone,

This is the formula which is giving me a lots of errors. but before explaining that please note that first argument (MyCalendar) is my local variable with Calendar id only, all other values I got from my collection which is created with the same button at first stage

1. on MyItem.Id all other fields with initial capital letters its  (like Id with Capital, Start etc)it says  "This identifier isn't recognised"

2. if I changed it to small letters it says. "expecting a text value instead"

Any solution to this problem Please.
