How to format numbers with "," and "$" sign in a chart?

I am trying to format numbers displayed in the chart but unable to do so?
I have formated it in Sharepoint (Data source) but same format is not getting copied to the chart in powerapps.
I am getting number displayed wihout $ sign and without ",".. How do i get it?

Not that I'm aware of. Even PowerApps own Budget Tracker example app has a chart with no $ format.

You can, however, add a Power BI tile with whatever formatting you want.

Use this formula:

Text(YourValue,"[$-en-US]$###,####")

For decimals, add this:

Text(YourValue,"[$-en-US]$###,####.00")

I have this formula in the item:

AddColumns(GroupBy(Expenses,"Category","cate"),"Amt",Sum(cate,'Total Amount'))

I want total amount to have that format... Can i define format within this formula? if so how? I tried many different ways but not happening..

You would use

AddColumns(GroupBy(Expenses,"Category","cate"),"Amt",Text(Sum(cate,'Total Amount'),"[$-en-US]$###,####"))

As far as seeing that format with a dollar sign, unfortunately PowerApps doesn't support that. You can add the decimals as above, but the dollar sign will not show up in the data label.
