I have a table with multiple combinations of packages and tests
table looks like -
packages(column1)- package1, package1, package1, package1, package1, package2, package2, package2, package3, package3
tests(column2)- test2, test10, test23, test24, test2, test1, test4, test7, test18, test 29, test23
I need a search engine to find out packages from list of tests.
Tried with combo box to select multiple tests-
combo box items- Distinct(Table1.Tests,Tests)
In this case, I am not able to type and select the tests, the issearchable option is gone.
Also, I could not be able to extract the packages from combo box results using labels or list
I want to search multiple tests in combo box and get result in form of list or labels, the packages involved.
Hi @pabitra ,
The reason why you can not use search function in combo box is that after you customize the combo box, its "allow searching" setting will turn off automatically.
Could you tell me the data type of test and package?
I assume that they are both text type.
I've made a similar test for your reference:
1)I use combo box to let you select tests, use listbox to display related packages
1)set the combo box's Items:
On your side, you should try:
turn this setting on:
3)set the list box's Items:
Distinct(Filter('1018',Title in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Result),package)
Distinct(Filter(tablename,test in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Result),package)
Then, after you select tests value in combo box, the related packages will display in the listbox.
Hi @v-yutliu-msft ,
Thanks for your reply.
This works but not completely.
I want to show the packages with a combination of tests from combo box.
Only those packages should be shown which has all the selected tests from combo box.
But, I am getting the packages which consists of all the tests(not the combination of selected ones).
I hope you get my point.
Please help me how to write code in Items to select all the tests and give me the package which consists all the selected tests.
I have asked another question on the same issue mentioned now.
Please have a look
