Hi @muralikrishna12 ,

Could you tell me:

  1. What is the form's data source? Is it a share point list? What is the combo box's items property? Does it come from the person column in the sharepoint list? Something like :Choices(YourSPList.PersonColumn)
  2. What does it mean that the combo box control has no value? Is your form in edit mode instead of new mode? Does the combo box control not display the value of the person column of a selected record?
  3. Does the person column allow multiple selections? Which record or records is the default value of your combo box?

I assume:

  1. Data source is SP list.
  2. You have a person column.
  3. Your combo box controls Items property is: Choices(YourSPList.PersonColumn)
  4. Person column allows single selection.
  5. In the edit mode of the form, you want the combo box to display the value of the person column of the first record.

I've made a test for your reference:

1\ This is my Sp list LIST30. Test is a Person colmn.

2\ Add a edit form and set its DataSource property to:

Set the forms Item property to:

3\ Insert a Test Datacard into form and set its Items property to:

If my guess is wrong, could you describe your problem in detail?  If you could provide some pictures, that would be greater.

I need more detailed information to help you.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
