Hi @Nagaraja,

You may just use single table in the items property:

["true", "false"]

Or if you would like to work with distinct value, take a look at the distinct function:

Distinct function in PowerApps

"

Syntax

Distinct( Table, Formula )

  • Table - Required. Table to evaluate across.
  • Formula - Required. Formula to evaluate for each record.

"

Re: How to get the Drop down list while editing?

If I'm understanding you correctly..

All you need to do is simply:

> connect the datasource that has the data you want to display

>add  a dropdown control

>in the dropdown properties, under Data, set the Items field to that datasource you just added

>select the value to the column you wish to populate the dropdown with

Thanks for your time @bean

I tried to follow the steps you  mentioned but I'm unable to select the drop down field in the under "Data", by default it shows "DropDownSample".

Hi @Nagaraja

You have to type out the datasource you added. So replace that DropDownSample with whatever the name of your data source is.

@Nagaraja As @Anonymous said, you need to replace that sample with your own data source.

Hi @Nagaraja,

Please take a look at the thread below, follow posts of PowerApps Staff CarlosFigueira:

Edit Form -AllowedValues

Besides, we could change the Data Card type to allowed Value, which then will switch the value input into a dropdown automatically.

Check the DataCard for more details:

Re: How to get the Drop down list while editing?

Hey guys, thanks for the help,

I'm able to get the "Drop down" and also assign the Column to it.

But the problem is the drop down list is showing all the values (not the distinct values) in the Column.

For instance, if my column has two values "True" and "False", I would like to see only "True" and "False" (just two values) not the number of times of records of "True" or "False".

The scenario is to edit the records that I have, selecting "True" or "False" from the drop down list (just like the drop down in Excel)  and update.

If it is possible in Power Apps, Please help me.

Thanks again.
