How to get the calling form in an onLoad event

I have a quick create form that has a choice field that represents the type of contact.

By the context (where it's opened from) we know what type of contact should be created.

I've looked at the execution context and what hoping that there was some way to get the form from which this quick create form was called. But I was unable to work out of that is possible.

This sounds like a pretty common design pattern, that probably has a "standard" solution.

If you know of a tutorial or similar could you point me to it,

or if you're better than me and have solved this previously could you explain how?

Thanks

Robert

Hi @Robert_vbc ,

I think you could try to create a global variable in the 'parent' form.

Please take a look at this:

Can it help you?
