How to hide Move or Copy from Document Library SharePoint online

Dear Support, In SharePoint online there is new feature added Move or Copy in Document Library. I don't want Move or Copy option in document library as users are moving the documents from one folder to another which is data duplication. Could you please how to disable this feature so user will not use this option to move or copy the document. Thanks

Hi @SPPowerApp20 ,

As I can see, these two features were added since 2018 and can not be totally disabled. BTW it should be a SharePoint question not Power Apps.

To solve your problem, you could try:

1\ Hide the library

https://mstechtalk.com/show-hide-sharepoint-list-libraries/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UD5piH5Bd20

2\ Let users use the library in web part

You will see the files in the web part library would not include move to and copy to options.

However, this could only be the workaround. Although the library has been hidden from all users in the navigation bar, in web part users will be able to connect to the library use the "see all" option because the link is still available to open the page.

Hope this helps.
