How to increase app width

I would like to have an app that is wider than the default, which is 1366 (x768)

Essentially, I'd like to have an app that might be 2000 pixels wide, and if the app is wider than the browser page a horizontal scrollbar appears to scroll across the app.

I get the feeling that that's not possible. Anyone able to either confirm, or provide some details as to how to increase the wcreen width?

Thanks

Re: How to increase app width

Today you can only change the app size via the "App settings" page, and only for certain predefined options (1366x768, 1152x768, 1129:768 and 1024x768 for tablet apps) - and the default one is the widest of them, so you cannot make it wider.
