I created a form and connected it to a SharePoint List in development. I then published it, expecting that I could use it to edit the entries in my SharePoint List. However when I try to edit an item in the SharePoint List, it is not using my form. It is still using the default SharePoint form
So I went to SharePoint settings --> List Settings --> Form Settings. But the form I have just published is not available for selection.
I even tried to select the other Powerapps form in the list above and the system produced an error message as follows:
You have to publish your form from within PowerApps to make this option work.
So my question is: How do I make the form I just published in Powerapps, the default form that is used to edit the SharePoint List?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Did you build your app as a standalone app or did you use the Customize/Modify Forms option in SharePoint?
You cannot create a standalone app and then connect it to SharePoint as an integrated form. You have to do it through the Modify Forms in PowerApps feature.
I hope this is helpful for you.
