How to pass for form value to a flow?

Is there a way of passing a value from a PowerApps form to a flow, and then using that value, set a variable?

Alternatively - is it possible to pick up the ID of the saved record and pass that to a flow, and then using that ID value to set a variable?

The flow is fired as soon as the record is saved.

Any example appreciated

Thanks

Re: How to pass for form value to a flow?

Yes,  I do this all the time.  If your flow has powerapps variable to use then all you need to do is in the flow run put the name of the datacardvalue.text into the powerapp variable flow created.

If the form is creating a new record, then you must do that before saving and the the form will reset after save.   there is also  away to capture the iD of the last row in the list with something like:

Set(VarID,Last(datasource).ID)  Note providing another user has not save in the meantime this will give you the last ID
