How to patch an HTML strike tag value "<del>" or "<s>"

Hello All,

I want to patch a HTML tag value to my sharepoint list on a button click so that once patched the data should look something like this

 inside the HTML text editor in powerapps. Since patch does not support tags , how can i get this to work 🙂

Thanks for the help !

@Anonymous_Hippo ,

Still a bit confused - I posted that exact syntax using a Date Picker to a list field and ended up with this in the field

<del>1</del>1

which displays as  11  in a HTML text box when the box simply contains that field.

Hi @Anonymous_Hippo ,

Not sure what you mean by Patch not supporting tags - if you post that as Text into a Text box and display the field value in a HTML text box, it should display as you expect.

Hello @WarrenBelz ,

I understand what you are trying to say. But see below code

Set(
    chiku1,
    ThisItem.ID
);
Patch(
    Regional,
    LookUp(
        Regional,
        ID = ThisItem.ID
    ),
    {WW_Notes: "<del>" & Month(ThisItem.'Submission LBE') & "</del>" & Month(ThisItem.'Submission LBE')}
)

This won't work 😞 (since <del> will be treated as a text) Also if i put this whole sentence in double quotes, that would not work either

How can i get this to work 🙂

Thanks
