How to record static Time in Power Apps

Hello Expert!

I have created a SharePoint customized form in PowerApps, I have one field called Request Status, I want to capture date and time when request status is "Assigned". I have used below formula :

If(DataCardValue14.Selected.'Request Status'="Assigned",Now(),Parent.Default)

But every time when someone open the form in edit mode the assignment date change, Can anyone suggest that how can I capture static time stamp.

Thanks in advanced!!

@jay95

Hopefully i can help you.

I’m assuming that there is a column in your list where te assigned on the (I’m assuming) assign button you can use the Patch() function to update the record.

I’ve to try it by myself to give you the actual code but it will look something like this.

for the date and time you can use the function Now().

Patch(‘list’, ‘lookup(‘list’, Id=‘id off assigning item’), {assigndate: Now())

Give it a try, and please contact me if you have any further questions.

kind regards
