Re: How to save pen input image as Base 64 format

An easy and multi-purpose solution is found to add pen-input to Sharepoint/Email/PDF by utilizing the addition of a PowerApps Json functionality added on 02/05/2019.

The Short description on how to make this work is to save the pen input image in a JSON format asking the JSON function to include Binary Data aka. Base64 🙂

Set( PenVar, JSON( PenInput1.Image,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData ) );

Re: How to save pen input image as Base 64 format

Hi @Sysfore_app ,

Would you explain more about why you need to save image as base 64 format?

 You will need to start a flow here in the app to achieve this. You can refer to the first 3 steps in below blog about how to convert image to base 64 format using Flow:

https://eccosystem.blogspot.com/2018/11/capture-pictures-to-dynamics-customer.html

Then learn how to return data from Flow to PowerApps here:

https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/return-data-to-powerapps/

So far you cannot achieve this directly in PowerApps, if you need this, you could try to vote on below idea:
