So here is the problem.
I cannot use Office365 Outlook connector because we do not have those emails.
I cannot use MAIL connector because it has few issues:
1) Users who unsubscribe will not receive emails.
2) Sending email with attachment is very buggy with MAIL connector (If you generate a CSV Table with custom headers and try to send using MAIL connector, it does not send an email for some reason, even though the Flow says it run successfully).
I find this SMTP connector and I was sure it’s going to solve all my problems. I setup the connector and all works perfectly. Now comes time to Share my app with coworkers and suddenly when they try to open the app they need to setup their own SMTP connector and cannot use the one I setup. What is the logic behind that?
Is there any way to send email with attachment from PowerApps?
I guess, as the SMTP connection would work only if the user has provided the credentials, powerapps will ask for it to be set-up by each user. In case of Outlook, as the user has already logged-in to the app with Office365 credentials, it doesn't need to ask again.
Did you set up the SMTP connector in PowerApps or Flow? don;t know if that willmake any difference though.
I setup it in Flow but setting it up in PowerApps would make no difference.
SMTP connector should be sharable so that you can setup it once and share it with your organization. It would make it so much better. Because as it is now it is not usable as you would need to give every person login information to your SMTP server which makes no sense.
