How to set up a SharePoint column to receive data from a powerapps multiselect combobox?

Can someone explain to me the proper settings for a sharepoint list column to allow it to receive and return the values from a multiselect combobox? I've watched lots of videos but I haven't found one that stipulates how to set up the SP column and I'm stuck between selected items.value, text, etc.

Scenario: SP List as database for canvas app

Design: Using Forms to create and edit records

Items for Combobox can either be a separate SP list, or hardcoded ["Item1", "Item2"], whichever is easier/better/less problematic

Should the SP column to be written to be set up as Single LIne of Text, Multiple Lines of Text, Choice or ?

Based on above, do I need to concat the selected items to write them to the SP column, or collect them?  And would I do that on the onselect or onchange or even the Update property of the datacard?

Sorry if this is basic, but it's eating my lunch.

Then you are referring to text...so all you need is a Text column.

If you want a multi-select combobox, then what is it you want to write to in your list?  You can write to any column in your list from a multi-select combobox, but the question is...what do you want to do?

I want to write all of the users' selections to one column, separated by a comma or semicolon is fine.
