How to stop datacards from changing their order

I've customised a form on a SharePoint list.  There is a radio control in a data card at the top, with two options.  Based on the selection made in the radio, I show/hide controls underneath, AND I also change the order.  I have put a function in the Y property for each field, so that based on the selection, the field order changes - there is a logical business reason to do so.

The formula looks something along these lines:

If(NewOrExisting.Selected.Value = "New Contract", 3, 4)

HOWEVER - the designer keeps overriding the Y property values for my data cards as I make selections in the form in the designer.  That means, I have to keep resetting the Y property just about every time I make ANY changes to the form!

The PowerApps designer is annoying, clunky, and frustrating as it is, but this the worst part!

Is there any way to stop the designer continually interfering with my formula in the Y property for data cards, which causes the order to arbitrarily change?
