How to use Office365 User Connector or other Connectors in ModelDriven App with Code

Hello,

I want to access the O365 connectors from my React Model Driven app to offer the user profiles in a people picker for selection.

How exactly can I query the data with code?
Another use case would be to query AzureDevops and ProjectOnline which are also available as connectors.

Hi @fs92 ,

Model-driven apps connect to the Common Data Service entities you have. From that model-driven app, you might kick off flows which interact with other connectors, like Office 365 Users.

And you can also embed canvas apps into model-driven apps, being another interaction between model-driven apps and the other connectors.

Mona

Re: How to use Office365 User Connector or other Connectors in ModelDriven App with Code

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.
If I understand right, there is no way to connect out of the box with the power apps component framework to other services like in a canvas app? I have seen examples were model-driven apps using different data sources like project online, Azure DevOps and SharePoint. Or the office 365 data for receiving user pictures.

So what is the best way to achieve this? Do I have to do authenticate to use them again when he opens the app to use his token for craft requests? Or is there another elegant way?
