How to use global variables

Hello, for some reason I can't find the answer to this question in the documentation. How do I use global variables in formulas? For context, I used the set function to create a global variable named "capacity". I want to use "capacity" to indicate which records to show in a list on another page. This is the formula I attempted:

Filter('Table_of_services', "capability" in Lower(ParentCapability))

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Steve130,

Can you please share the formula you are using to set the variable? Also, please indicate what the behaviour is you are observing with your current filter statement vs what you expect.

Hi, I apologize for the delay. When I use that formula, the list displays all the records in the table. A warning symbol appears at the top left which brings up this:

Also, if I try removing the quotes around "capability", the list becomes blank and a red squiggly line appears under capability, indicating it's not recognized.

Hi @Steve130 ,

Can you share the actual formula you use to set the variable?

Also I noticed in your opening post you refer to the variable as "capacity", whereas the formula you posted for the filters says "capability". Could it be there's an issue there?
